I am the Senior Paraplanner and Pension Specialist at Newbridge, using and building on existing experience and knowledge to simplify solutions and deliver peace of mind for our clients. I manage, review and closely monitor our bespoke Newbridge Investment Portfolios, ensuring that our clients’ funds are working hard for them. I also work with Gareth on more complex pieces of work.
I have over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and have worked for several financial firms throughout my career. Newbridge stands apart and has demonstrated a level of dedication to our clients, professionalism and team spirit that is unrivalled. I thoroughly enjoy being part of this team, working together to achieve and maintain our clients’ financial goals.
I am a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Mortgage Professionals and hold the following professional qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute:

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning

I am currently working towards Chartered Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
I also hold the ILM Certificate in Leadership and Management through Belfast Metropolitan College.
I am also a mother of 18 and 8-year-old boys, so while I don’t have much spare time between work, family life and studying – I do enjoy relaxing with a good book, walks by the sea as well as good company of friends and family.
Rebecca Adams, Cert CII (MP)
I am the Mortgage Adviser at Newbridge Financial Planning Ltd and am responsible for ensuring our clients are provided with high levels of customer service, throughout their journey.
I began my career at Newbridge as a personal assistant and have successfully progressed my role with the company to Mortgage Adviser. Newbridge have supported my career growth and continue to focus on development and training, for the benefit of our clients.
I have been working in the financial services sector since 2016, developing my skills and knowledge during this time.
I am a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals and hold the following qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute:
Level 3 – Certificates in UK Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics, Mortgage Advice and Financial Protection.
In my spare time I like to go to the gym, catch up with friends and family, as well as travel.
As PA to the Managing Director, I am the first point of contact for our clients; from initial meeting through the ongoing relationship, managing Gareth’s diary – ensuring our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
In addition to my main role, I work alongside the Newbridge Team to manage our social media presence as well as promotion via publications and public events. I enjoy working with organisations and charities to further Newbridge’s Corporate Responsibility profile, as well as with fellow business in support of local SMEs.
My career to date has focused strongly on administrative and client support, development, coordination and delivery of training, as well as social, academic and professional events. Newbridge has encouraged and supported me to build on my experience, by completing a number of courses to enhance my skill set, such as:
Customer Relationship Management; Project Management; Supervision Skills and a Level 3 Executive PA Diploma.
I am currently studying for a Diploma in Office Management.
Outside of work, I am part of a voluntary committee for my home town’s local community group; a registered charity who’s aim is to develop and support a spirit of community as well as create a sense of pride in the town which participants live and work. In my spare time, I enjoy being at home with my husband, son, dogs and chickens. I am an avid reader of literary fiction and a music enthusiast, with a life-long interest in equestrian activities.
